The Role of the Nurse
At the reception, you will work with colleagues on telephone counseling, assessment, and prioritization of emergency patients. The psychiatric care team works with high availability in the patient's everyday life, and the tasks today consist of assessments via phone or home visits. The teams have a large network of contacts, both within the clinic and at the hospital, but also externally with, for example, the police, ambulance, and social services. An important part of the work is to maintain a good level of service for patients and partners.
The Organization You Will Work Within
The Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping is one of the largest clinics in the region, providing both outpatient and inpatient care within specialist psychiatry. The operation has seven outpatient clinics, five wards, an administrative unit, and a psychiatric emergency reception that offers emergency assessments around the clock. The clinic provides psychiatric specialist care for residents over 18 years old. Parts of the clinic are also a regional resource responsible for psychiatric intensive care, addiction care, forensic psychiatry, and emergency operations where we handle urgent cases within both adult psychiatric clinics and child and adolescent psychiatric clinics.

Your Profile
We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have experience in psychiatric care and/or specialist training in psychiatry, this is seen as a positive but is not a requirement. If you are not currently a specialist nurse in psychiatry, we would like you to be interested in further education.
Since home visits are part of the job, a B driver's license is required.

Our Offer to You
We offer a permanent full-time position with shifts during the day, evening, weekend, and night according to the schedule. Start date by agreement.
With us, you will have the opportunity to rotate between tasks at our emergency reception and our mobile team.

You will be involved in planning, developing, and following up on the operations.

Therefore, we offer you, who have received your license in the last 12 months, the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's best introduction and development programs for newly graduated nurses (RIU). The program includes 20 full days spread over eight months and starts every year in February and September. RIU gives you the opportunity to meet other newly graduated nurses where you can exchange experiences and provide each other with advice and support.
